What we do From climate ambition to measurable action.

Carbon accounting, restoration, digital monitoring, regenerative agriculture and green skills, delivered by one team across East Africa.

Five services. One team.

Furaha & Baraka Farms (FBF) is a climate and sustainability enterprise headquartered in Nairobi, Kenya, working across East Africa. FBF helps organisations and communities turn climate ambitions into measurable action through five services: carbon accounting and ESG reporting, reforestation and carbon offset projects, digital MRV, circular economy and regenerative agriculture, and climate leadership and green skills.

Organisations need to know their real emissions and risks, act in ways that fit their context, and prove progress with evidence. FBF does all of it under one agreement, with one team and one dataset, from the first baseline to a report ready for verification.

Carbon Accounting & ESG Reporting

Know your real emissions and risks, and report them with confidence.

We set environmental baselines, assess greenhouse gas emissions and nature-related risks, and turn scattered data into clear climate and ESG priorities.

What we deliver

  • GHG inventories
  • Scope 1, 2 and relevant Scope 3 assessments
  • Climate and nature-risk analysis
  • ESG indicator frameworks
  • Emissions-reduction planning
  • Disclosure support

Reforestation & Carbon Offset Projects

Restoration run as a process, not a planting event.

We turn climate and nature goals into measurable restoration on the ground, from species choice and nursery quality to planting, aftercare and replacement.

What we deliver

  • Terrestrial restoration and reforestation
  • Mangrove and blue-carbon restoration
  • Agroforestry and grafted fruit trees
  • Climate-smart agriculture
  • Quality seedlings from KEPHIS-certified nurseries
  • Carbon project feasibility and readiness

Digital MRV

Every field activity linked to its evidence.

We combine remote observation with ground checks, so every tree, site and report can be traced back to what is happening in the field.

What we deliver

  • Mobile field data collection
  • Tree growth and survival monitoring
  • GIS and satellite change detection
  • Ground truthing
  • AI-assisted analysis
  • Dashboards and carbon sequestration reporting

Circular Economy & Regenerative Agriculture

Keeping value in the landscape.

Water harvesting, regenerative farming and new value chains that keep ecological and economic value in the landscape.

What we deliver

  • Semicircular bunds and water harvesting
  • Regenerative agriculture
  • Seaweed and crab fatteningIn development
  • Soya and nature-based value chainsIn development
  • Biochar and clean energyIn development

Climate Leadership & Green Skills

Skills and leadership that keep climate work going.

The Green Scholars Programme takes young people from climate awareness to leadership, through eco-clubs, bootcamps and field experience.

What we deliver

  • Climate literacy
  • Green Scholars and eco-clubs
  • Restoration and field skills
  • Digital skills for monitoring
  • Sustainable agriculture and circular business skills

How we work.

One method for every project.

  1. 01

    Measure

We map emissions, land, risks and local context.

What you get: baseline & GHG inventory.

  2. 02

    Plan

We prioritise actions and design the project for the site.

What you get: action plan, site suitability maps.

  3. 03

    Implement

Nurseries and field teams deliver with local communities.

What you get: planting, aftercare, training.

  4. 04

    Monitor

Survival, growth and outcomes tracked over time.

What you get: GPS records, live dashboards.

  5. 05

    Prove

Results reported only as far as the evidence supports.

    What you get: evidence-backed reports.

Working with

With certified nurseries strategically located in different parts of the country and working with local communities, we have found them to have the necessary capacity to deliver the quantities and quality that we require in a very timely manner.
